Finally Valve gave us green light for the release of the Maker Edition of CUR3D, as reported by 3Printr, and we have officially pushed out the final build to the Steam shop. We are very happy and proud that everyone can use a version of CUR3D that fits in its purse now.
Researchers from MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and Columbia University are trying to make the CAD design process faster and easier: they’ve developed InstantCAD, a tool that lets designers interactively edit, improve, and optimize CAD models using a more streamlined and intuitive workflow.

Dinara Kasko is a 28 year old pastry chef from Ukraine. She graduated from the University of Architecture and Design and worked as an architect-designer and a 3D visualization artist. At some point she combined her talent with her passion for patisserie and started to model her own moulds, to print them with 3D printer and create custom desserts. Two Star Wars-inspired lands are currently under construction at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort. The first detailed 3D model of Star Wars Land (now officially called Galaxy’s Edge) is on display this weekend at the 2017 D23 Expo. Enterprise software giant SAP SE launched three new SAP Leonardo Innovation Services to help businesses connect new technologies to use case scenarios with the goal of shortening time to value. These are mainly focused on leveraging network and IT tool for manufacturing but they also include streamlining the integration of 3D printing, which has been an SAP focus for the longer term.
