Ceramics 3D printer firm Lithoz today released its new CeraVision tool and set of features to real-time monitor and control 3D printing process from remote via live-video transmission, giving users an all-new way to interact with their printers. Available for the CeraFab printers’ family, this new tool is also designed to detect and automatically correct errors during printing and to increase the usability of the printers.

Sigma Labs introduces PrintRite3D Production series AM Software

Sigma Labs, Inc. has announced the launch of a new software-based offering, PrintRite3D Production Series. The quality assurance solution introduces new features such as the Production Dashboard, and offers useful information and AI-driven metrics to production managers. The company says its platform can enhance the speed and agility of the additive manufacturing process by “truncating the design and development process and accelerating the 3D manufacturing machine qualification.”

Mississippi State University CAVS integrates Sigma Labs PrintRite3D software Research & Education

Sigma Labs, Inc., an expert in quality assurance software for additive manufacturing, announced it has been awarded a contract by Mississippi State University’s Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS). The center, a leading interdisciplinary research hub focused on driving innovation in U.S. mobility industries, will integrate Sigma’s PrintRite3D software with a Renishaw AM400 3D printer.

Sketchfab introduces 3D model CC0 dedication for cultural institutions AM Software

3D content platform Sketchfab made an announcement this week which will see high-quality 3D scans and models of cultural artefacts become more accessible through its platform. In short, cultural organizations using Sketchfab now have the ability to dedicate their 3D models to the Public Domain using a Creative Commons Public Domain identifier (CC0). As part of the announcement, Sketchfab has also unveiled collaborations with 27 cultural institutions from across the world, including the Smithsonian Institution.
