GE Additive and ORNL partner to drive industrialization of AM AM Industry

GE Additive has signed a five-year cooperative R&D agreement (CRADA) with the DOE’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) aimed at establishing AM process, materials and software that accelerate the industrialization and adoption of the manufacturing technology.

Texas A&M campus to house second America Makes Satellite Center Research & Education

America Makes, the United States’ National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, has announced a second Satellite Center, which will be based at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES)—already an America Makes platinum-level member. Plans for the new center were made official at an MOU signing event between America Makes and TEES last week.

HP and NTU Singapore announce $84M digital manufacturing lab AM Industry

HP Inc. has announced a collaboration with the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) and the National Research Foundation Singapore (NRF) to launch the HP-NTU Digital Manufacturing Corporate Lab. The new lab, which cost $84 million, will support various areas geared towards accelerating the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
