Essentium introduces industry’s first anti-static material Materials
Essentium introduced Essentium TPU 58D-AS, a new electrostatic-discharge-safe anti-static thermoplastic polyurethane filament. Unlike other anti-static materials, which include carbon additives, Essentium’s new material comes in color. This new feature is ideal for applications such as space vehicles and satellite manufacturing, where no-fly parts must be both ESD safe and red in color.
