CMS presents Kreator hybrid LFAM system 3D Printer Hardware

In 2018, CMS, a leader in industrial CNC machines for composite processing, began a collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute, to develop an original LFAM solution, for improving the competitiveness of composite and their applications across various industries. Now the company is ready to present the result of that collaboration, the Kreator hybrid LFAM composites system.

CMS presents Kreator hybrid LFAM system 3D Printer Hardware Featuring a patented single screw extruder, which was designed for 3D printing using different materials, the current model has a maximum mass flow of 7 Kg/h, with a more powerful 20 Kg/h model on the way. Like other large-format hybrid systems, the Kreator was designed to integrate a machine tool and a large format 3D printer in one system, and the company assures significant materials savings compared to current manufacturing technologies, using up to 5 times less material than competitors, to print the same part.
