With an aim to expand access to affordable metal 3D printing for small-to-medium size companies and decentralize additive manufacturing, the metal PBF 3D printer manufacturer Xact Metal signed an exclusive sales and service partnership with Prototech, a leading Stratasys distributor in South Korea.
Imperial College London and Empa researchers have created a fleet of bee-inspired flying 3D printing drones, collectively known as Aerial Additive Manufacturing (Aerial-AM), for building and repairing structures in-flight.
