HP and Shining 3D ePrint Bring MultiJet Fusion 3D Printing Technology to Asia-Pacific AM Industry

Building on its 3D printing industry leadership and momentum, HP announced the commercial availability of its MultiJet Fusion 3D Printing solution and the expansion of its 3D printing business across the Asia-Pacific region. Shining 3D ePrint, a leading 3D printing services provider with over 10,000 customers worldwide, will deploy HP’s 3D printing innovations in more than 50 locations across China including Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Shanghai. Infinite 3D Printing, one of China’s largest 3D printing solutions providers, also plans to install HP’s 3D printing solutions in multiple technology centers including Suzhou and Qingdao.

Norsk Titanium Closes Strategic Investment from Triangle Holdings for Aerospace AM Industry

Following the recent announcement by metal Additive Manufacturing system OEM Norsk Titanium AS that it will deliver the world’s first FAA-approved, 3D printed, structural titanium components to Boeing, Norsk Titanium today announced it has closed on a significant investment from Triangle Holdings LP (“Triangle”), an aerospace investment company owned by funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group LLC (“Fortress”). Triangle has invested over $1.2 billion in aircraft and aerospace related assets since its formation in 2011. Terms of the investment were not released.
