After three years of research and hard work, XYZprinting is introducing a new complete range of 3D printers, starting with its da Vinci Color, the world’s first full-colour 3D printer that uses 3D ColorJet technology, which combines inkjet printing with fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing. The impressive new line up goes on to include the brand new PartPro350 xBC binder jetting, MfgPro230 xS SLS system and segment-specific DLP systems, for a full industrial 3D printing offer.

German Students Use Stratasys Technology to 3D Print Self Balancing Mobility Device Research & Education

Stratasys worked with the University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten in Germany is developing a first-of-its kind 3D printed self-balancing scooter with Stratasys additive technologies. Tasked with “thinking additively” to achieve true customization, the students built the entire product development process for the scooter around additive manufacturing. As a result, the team produced the first fully-functional prototype 85% faster compared to traditional manufacturing methods.
