New Balance introduces TripleCell platform for 3D printed footwear Consumer Products

Boston-based sportswear giant New Balance has showcased a keen interest in 3D printing technologies since as far back as 2016, when it unveiled the Zante Generate shoe with a 3D printed midsole—the first 3D printed sneaker to become commercially available (though in extremely limited quantities). When, in 2017, New Balance announced a partnership with Formlabs to develop high performance materials, hardware and process for athletic footwear, it was clear its intentions were to keep pursuing AM.

Alfa Romeo F1 Racing orders 4th MetalFAB1 system from Additive Industries 3D Printing Service Providers

At the opening of the Rapid.Tech – Fabcon Conference on industrial 3D Printing in Erfurt, Additive Industries revealed that it has strengthened its Technology Partnership with the F1 team of Alfa Romeo Racing. On behalf of Alfa Romeo Racing, Sauber Engineering, like the F1 team part of the Sauber Group and using the technology, have ordered their 4th multi-module, 4-laser MetalFAB1 Productivity system.
