9T Labs AG, experts in the production of continuous fiber components, has completed its most recent project within the company’s ongoing collaboration with Oris SA, the Swiss manufacturer of luxury mechanical watches – the ProPilot Altimeter watch. Oris decided to partner with 9T Labs, again, after the recent success of the Oris’ Coulson limited-edition watch.
Aspect Biosystems and Novo Nordisk A/S have entered a collaboration, development, and licensing agreement to develop bioprinted tissue therapeutics designed to replace, repair, or supplement biological functions inside the body, with the aim of delivering a new class of truly disease-modifying treatments for diabetes and obesity. The collaboration will leverage Aspect’s proprietary bioprinting technology and Novo Nordisk’s expertise and technology in stem cell differentiation and cell therapy development and manufacturing.

Stratasys Ltd has completed the acquisition of the additive manufacturing materials business of Covestro AG. The acquisition, which is immediately accretive, includes R&D facilities and activities, global development and sales teams across Europe, the US, and Asia, a portfolio of approximately 60 additive manufacturing materials, and an extensive IP portfolio comprised of hundreds of patents and pending patents.
The British Army is reportedly expected to acquire SPEE3D’s cold-spray metal 3D printing technology to help develop the army’s unplanned repair capabilities. In addition to purchasing the XSPEE3D printer, the British Army has signed a two-year contract to work with SPEE3D which involves delivering training courses, and working closely with the British Army’s Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
GREENFILL3D, a Polish startup specializing in 3D printing applications using innovative, eco-friendly materials, has entered a collaboration with four top filament manufacturers, including Chilean company Copper3D and three Polish firms: Grupa Azoty, Spectrum Filaments, and ROSA 3D. This partnership will facilitate the development of the COLORISED line of lighting accessories, incorporating antibacterial, biodegradable, and compostable properties into everyday items.
