Anycubic has unveiled its latest resin 3D printer, the Anycubic Photon Mono 2 – the upgraded version of the popular Photon Mono 4K, featuring several significant improvements including a 6.6″ 4K+ upgraded screen, larger build volume, upgraded LighTurbo UV light system, and laser engraved build platform.
PERI 3D Construction, a pioneer in 3D construction printing, is currently using a COBOD BOD2 3D construction printer to print the walls of Europe’s largest 3D printed building. The project was initiated by KRAUSGRUPPE, a project developer, builder, investor, real estate manager, and broker in Heidelberg, Germany. Dyndrite, providers of the core Accelerated Computation Engine (ACE) and Application Development Kit (ADK) used to create next-generation digital manufacturing hardware and software, and UPM Additive Solutions, a supplier of metal build plates for the additive industry, have entered into a joint agreement to create ‘smart’ metal build plates for metal 3D printing.
Nexa3D has released its XiP Pro ultrafast industrial 3D printer, a system that provides one of the highest daily production throughputs and lowest total costs of ownership in its class. The XiP Pro features print speeds notably faster than the traditional SLA- and DLP-based technologies, a more powerful print engine, and a 19.5-liter build volume.
MolyWorks, a California-based metal AM powder manufacturer and service provider, has integrated the DMP Flex 350 from 3D Systems into its manufacturing workflow. As a result, MolyWorks has recognized significant efficiency improvements in its production process, and opportunities to enhance the breadth of capabilities by delivering additively manufactured end-use parts to its customers. With these advantages, MolyWorks has grown its customer base, including the work the company is conducting alongside the United States Air Force to evaluate 3D printed flight-critical parts.
3D Systems (NYSE:DDD), the first company to market a hardware system based on SLS technology back in the 1990s, has entered into an agreement to acquire Wematter, a Swedish 3D printer manufacturer, that will broaden 3D Systems’ Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) portfolio. Wematter designed and introduced the Wematter Gravity in 2019 which brought an affordable, turnkey SLS solution to the market. The closed-loop system is designed to operate in a smaller-footprint environment outside of a manufacturing floor, such as an office.
