Nexa3D integrating Siemens factory automation across QLS portfolio Additive Manufacturing

Polymer 3D printer company Nexa3D is teaming up with Siemens to bring its AM production systems up to speed for Industry 4.0 connectivity. The companies will leverage their respective areas of expertise to standardize Nexa3D’s whole Quantum Laser Sintering (QLS) product line to Siemens’ factory automation and computing technologies. (Earlier this year Nexa3D acquired NXT Factory, the developer of QLS technology.)

SOLE by PodoPrinter 3D printer for insoles to debut on October 1st 3D Printer Hardware

Backed by colorFabb, the new SOLE by PodoPrinter system is launching on October 1st and introducing a new footwear-specific hardware approach. The SOLE Podoprinter solution is a unique combination of a 3D Belt printer (like colorFabb’s backed BlackBelt Printer), filament and specialized insole CAD software. Users can scan with almost any device and use this integrated easy workflow even without having any knowledge of 3D printing. just by pushing of a button.

Farsoon installs laser sintering systems at Chuanglian 3D Technology Company AM Industry

Farsoon Technologies, a laser sintering and materials developer, completed the installation of two systems for Chuanglian 3D Technology Company. An HT1001P CAMS and three Flight 403P systems were installed. These installations represent a budding partnership between Farsoon and Chuanglian, which further reflects Farsoon’s growing market share. This growth is balanced by growing tensions between the United States and mainland Chinese manufacturers. Farsoon’s partnership consolidates Farsoon’s relationships in its local market, thus strengthening the company’s operations.

Add TIPE 3D Printing, industry’s first all-female conference, to your calendars AM Industry

AM organization Women in 3D Printing has done some seriously amazing work over the years: highlighting the accomplishments of women across AM and giving them a platform through which to connect, as well as providing insights into the industry’s diversity through its regular DfAM reports. Now, the group is preparing to host the additive industry’s first all-female agenda of AM speakers at the upcoming TIPE 3D Printing conference.
