Stratasys Opens Vulcan Labs Inc. for PBF Optimization 3D Printing Processes

Stratasys Ltd. have officially launched a new spin-off designed to advance innovation of Powder-Bed Fusion (PBF) additive manufacturing – Vulcan Labs, Inc. Vulcan’s solutions are engineered to meet the complex demands of end-use production applications – aimed at significantly overcoming typical deficiencies of productivity, quality, and certification. The company’s primary focus is advancing the quality, repeatability and efficiency of PBF technology – initially focusing on metals.

Chinese dental laboratory turns to EnvisionTEC printers and materials for aligner production Medical

Hanyang Technology, located in Baoding, Hebei Province China was founded in July 2017 by CEO Sasa Jia and Technical Director Vivian Wang. Hanyang’s core products are orthodontic at present, predominantly the production of tooth aligners. The business also engages in the application of medical and 3D printing technology research and recently registered a new transparent dental appliance brand MYDEMAK. For their high-end 3D printing needs, the Hanyang team turned to EnvisionTEC.

Funny BMW Motorrad teases remote spare parts 3D printing on April 1st 3D Printing Processes

The news is funny and borderline realistic – probably funnier and less realistic than our own April fool’s post – and it’s pretty cool: the good ol’ guys at BMW Motorrad’s PR team announced that the company will be offering BMW Motorrad iParts as an optional equipment item from this summer. This is a 3D printing system which will allow BMW Motorrad dealers and customers to print out spare parts as required on site so as to be able to continue their journey as quickly as possible.
