CTC to offer EBAM metal printing through new partnership with Sciaky, Inc. Marketing and Content

Sciaky, Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) and leading provider of metal additive manufacturing (AM) solutions, have entered a strategic partnership with Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) to support a growing demand for high quality, large-scale additively manufactured metal parts. Backer concern grows over Team Owl Works’ Morpheus delta 3D printer, company says an update is imminent Research & Education

There’s no denying that being a startup can be tough and often entails a journey marked by ups and downs. For South Korean 3D printer startup Team Owl Works, things began promisingly enough as it successfully raised over $244,000 dollars through a 2016 Kickstarter to bring its Morpheus delta resin 3D printer to life. Since then, however, things seem to have stagnated somewhat with the company which has recently drawn concern from backers of the project.

GE Additive Education: five universities named as recipients of metal AM systems 3D Printer Hardware

Just weeks after GE Additive announced the 600+ primary and secondary schools awarded with 3D printing packages as part of its Additive Education Program (AEP), the company has announced the universities that will be receiving industrial metal additive manufacturing systems from it. The announcement marks the conclusion of GE Additive’s 2018/19 cycle of the AEP.

LA Dodgers go with 3D printed logos on matte helmets for new MLB season Professional Additive Manufacturing

Florida based 3D printing service and 3D printer reseller Dimension Works used the ULTRA 3SP 3D printing hardware from EnvisionTEC to supply custom 3D printed logos for the LA Dodgers’ new helmets, in anticipation of the new MLB season. The Dodgers are not new at playing around 3D printing since Laura and Janne Kyttanen’s Pixweet launched their Pixsweet 3D printed custom ice pops startup at Dodgers’ Stadium Season Opening last year.
