Offering 8K resolution with proprietary next-generation illumination technology, Visitech’s newest LRS-8KA projector provides machine builders with up to 4x improvement in productivity. At Formnext, visitors will be able to see and experience how this compact and powerful subsystem will be at the heart of future production SLA 3D printers.
Next-generation UV power
Visitech has developed its sixth-generation LED illumination solution, providing superior power output for maximum printing speed. The sophisticated driver design maintains constant power dosing throughout the operation. A complete, liquid-cooled thermal solution further provides the necessary heat management of critical components while mitigating the incursion of dust particles into the optical system. In addition, the compact, modular design is designed for easy replacement, simplifying maintenance routines in industrial settings.
“We see the LRS-8KA empowering the next generation of SLA machine designs through our superior optics, mechanics, and electronics”, says Alfred Jacobsen, Managing Director of Visitech Engineering.
Manufacturing on Demand
“Visitech pioneered scrolling DLP additive manufacturing, and we continue our leadership by providing our customers the highest performance technology for their applications.”Alfred Jacobsen, Managing Director of Visitech Engineering.
LRS-8KA, 32 million pixel
The power-packed projector uses a customized optical actuator to shift the image of a DLP device four times per exposure, resulting in 32 million addressable pixel positions. This extended-resolution image processing allows next-generation SLA printers to expand their build areas or enhance the system resolution.
Visitech also offers the LRS-MCx 4K solution for large-area solutions, which employs a native 4K DMD. Using a similarly narrow footprint as the LRS-MCx-HD, multiple units can be stacked side-by-side on a motion system achieving a high-capacity production machine. Control is achieved by Visitech’s LAMA STANDARD software package and API, allowing the choice of any motion controller.
The LRS-8KA and LRS-MCx 4K will be demonstrated at Formnext 2022 in Frankfurt. Also revealed will be Visitech’s second-generation NIR projector for powder bed fusion applications.
