Triditive, a Spanish-based company focused on the automation of additive manufacturing, has secured €5M in a pre-series A funding round. The capital injection was led by a notable Spanish industrial group.
Triditive’s objective in this new phase is to continue the development of the automation of additive manufacturing – enabling its industrial deployment and the scaling up of production, thereby positioning itself as the key technology that provides a rapid response to supply chain crises and promotes local manufacturing.

Triditive was incorporated in 2016 in Asturias, Spain, and has patented its AMCELL printer, the first industrial 3D printer able to mass-produce components using metals or polymers – making the AMCELL printer one of the fastest solutions for large-scale production. Triditive is the only European company focused on the automation of additive manufacturing. This is not the first funding round raised by Triditive. In Triditive’s previous seed round, the company secured investment from industry leaders such as Stanley Ventures, Techstars, and Hunosa Empresas, amongst others. This latest round of investment makes Triditive the largest capital-raising additive manufacturing company in Spain, raising €8M worth of investment to date.
Triditive is listed as one of the top 10 startups in European 3D printing in terms of private investment. The company has received many worldwide distinctions and awards and has additional offices in the UK and USA. Recently, the company inaugurated its headquarters, a 2000m2 manufacturing plant in Asturias, Spain, where the company develops its proprietary technology.
According to The Bank of Spain, the supply chain crisis will cause the Spanish economy losses of up to €16B. The dependence on remote suppliers, and global transport problems, is causing an increasing demand for a change in patterns of consumption. As we know already, this is where companies such as Triditive, and technology such as AM, flourish – enabling localized production.
