Titomic Limited has received a stock order from mining engineering company, Brauntell – a Titomic Authorised Service Provider and Reseller – for D523 cold-spray Systems for an amount of AUD 395,000.
The Systems are expected to be on-sold by Brauntell to mining end users in New South Wales and Queensland. This sale comes on top of the purchase order for a System to Brauntell announced on 7 July 2022, and now establishes repeat business through the reseller channel and provides the company with a presence in the mining sector.
Titomic’s D523 cold-spray Systems
Brauntell offers specialist and expert sustainment services to the Australian mining industry, and these Systems will further enhance Brauntell’s product offering within maintenance and repair servicing.
The mining industry and many others rely on developed maintenance programs to ensure equipment operability. However, unforeseeable breakdowns of machinery can lead to months-long downtimes and accompanying lost revenue due to a reliance on external repair and replacement services.
Manufacturing on Demand
The Systems utilize high-velocity particle deposition to apply a range of metal coatings to metal parts, enabling rapid restoration of surfaces and geometries by hand or robotics. Once sprayed, metal parts can be machined to final tolerance in-house.
Ultimately, the Systems enables operators to re-shore and bring maintenance and repair efforts in-house to heighten self-sufficiency, leading to reduced lead times and increased profitability and productivity.
“Partnering with Brauntell, a company with deep and extensive expertise within the mining industry, is a solid first step into the mining sector and through the reseller channel. This engagement is further proof that we continue to strongly deliver on our commercial strategy. Resellers provide Titomic with an efficient means of extending our reach into end users. With Brauntell, we’re able to leverage both their expertise and our novel technology to introduce competitive services to the market. Our partnership with Brauntell will be lengthy and fruitful for both parties,” commented Herbert Koeck, Managing Director of Titomic.
“Partnering with Titomic, we’re able to further expand our product offering to our customer base, leading to further opportunities within the market. This technology provides a simple, cost-effective repair and maintenance solution to mining and beyond. We’re excited for what’s to come in the near and distant future for this technology and this partnership,” commented Scott Farrell, Innovation and Strategy Executive of Brauntell.
