FEMTOprint is a Swiss company that develops, produces and distributes its FEMTOprint technology and tools. The technology is used for cost-effective high precision 3D micro-fabrication and supports its customers with the design and the production of three dimensional prototypes and small micro-devices.
Multiphoton Optics develops and sells high-performance 3D Laser Lithography Equipment. The equipment is used to create three dimensional structures within a volume and on a surface of different materialssuch as polymers, hybrid materials such as ORMOCERs, alongside glasses and metals. Multiphoton Optics supports its customers in small volume manufacturing for first products or long-term supply of components manufactured with its 3D Laser Lithography systems.
LUXeXceL Group BV provides additive manufacturing services for optical components using its patented Printoptical Technology. LUXeXceL’s President and Founder Richard van de Vrie has been the first to publicly comment: “It’s LUXeXceL’s mission to digitise the optics manufacturing enabling mass customisation for optics. It is an honour to be chosen as a finalist in this international competition and I am happy that the jury recognises that we guide this industry into the third industrial revolution.”
The international award, which is organised by the SPIE (international society for optics and photonics) takes place every year in San Francisco, California. The 2015 winners are to be announced on Wednesday, February 11 during the ceremony at Photonics West.
