3D printing is a new way of manufacturing. What’s the fastest way to bring your idea to real life? There is no doubt: it is 3D printing.

The 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) broke out in a sudden and appeared to be fairly easy to spread. The most common known spreading way of COVID-19 is person-to-person contact within a 6-foot (1.8 meters) radius, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). People with COVID-19 spread viral particles through coughing and sneezing. The particles can land in the mouths or noses of those nearby. So if you’re going to the crowded area, you’re not only recommended to wear masks to cover your mouth and nose but also wear protective eyewear to avoid the particles entering your eyes.

Sometimes it’s hard to buy medical protective goggles, and we suggest keeping these supplies for medical professionals as they’re under much more serious exposure of viruses than normal people do. Other goggles with airtightness like the swim goggles could help also.

If you have no access to these products, please don’t worry. 3D modelers and professionals act quickly and have designed several goggles for emergency use. You could 3D print them with your own 3D printer, or order with online 3D printing service or local 3D printing shops.
