And, now, the savvy startup behind Rinkak, Kabuku Inc., will have $750 million JPY (~$6.12 million USD) with which to grow even further. Having closed a Series A funding round led by Global Brain Corporation, Dentsu Digital Holdings, Inc., and MITSUI SUMITOMO INSURANCE Venture Capital Co., Ltd, the Japanese firm will be able to expand Rinkak services across the globe.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52775\" src=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/i-road-from-toyota-3D-printing-with-Rinkak-mass-customization.jpg\" alt=\"i-road from toyota 3D printing with Rinkak mass customization\" width=\"1200\" height=\"321\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kabuku has already established itself in the Japanese 3D printing space, most notably teaming with Toyota to develop custom auto parts for their Open Road Project. They\u2019ve also launched the Loft Lab 3D Figurine Studio, with The Loft Co., Ltd., and demonstrated their amazing CMF services for Olympus Air. I\u2019m pretty enthusiastic about these services, as they allow for a wide variety of post-processing for 3D prints that add textures, patterns, and finishes typically associated with mass manufacturing, but with an unique aesthetic flair. On top of that, the company has launched a manufacturing management service, which is meant to help 3D printing service providers manage their businesses efficiently \u2013 another interesting offering from a 3D printing marketplace.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-49406\" src=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/rinkak-adds-cmf-post-processing-to-3D-printing.jpg\" alt=\"rinkak adds cmf post processing to 3D printing\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Series A news follows an initial Seed Round that saw $200M JPY from CyberAgent Ventures Inc., NISSAY CAPITAL CO., LTD., and FUJI STARTUP VENTURES, INC. launch the Rinkak marketplace in the first place in 2014. With this new funding, they will be able to grow their sales and marketing activities.
