The company, who celebrated success with the Discovery200, a DIY printer kit with a price tag of \u20ac299, are looking to expand with their new funds.<\/p>\n<p>Having sold over 4,000 printers in just two short years, the investment led by Olivier Leclerq is sure to pay off. The funds are largely from lead investor Leclerq, one of France\u2019s most illustrious businessmen. He is the vice-president of Decathlon Oxylane, the world\u2019s largest integrated sporting goods retailer, and owner of Olivarius Hotels. With the expansion in the north of France, the south will follow, and the announcement of a training facility will assist with the expansion. After releasing the Discovery200 they gave the world the Explorer350 Beta, a machine more geared towards professionals. Dagoma have recently redesigned the Discovery200 to be a quieter, more stable, more reliable machine, and labeled it the DiscoEasy200. With a build volume of 200 x 200 x 200mm, with a print speed of up to 100mm\/s and a precision of 100 microns, it has the same \u20ac299 price tag as their inaugural machine kit. If you already own a Discovery200 you can easily upgrade too.
