Image via DiManEx<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Transforming the supply chain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The self-professed goal of DiManEx is &#8220;is to revolutionise manufacturing supply chains the same way e-commerce has transformed retail.&#8221; The firm&#8217;s strategy to achieve this aim is applied two-fold using cloud-based software.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, the firm proposes digital stock in place of vast warehouses of spare parts &#8211; an initiative under consistent application across the manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8220;Monetizing the Long Tail&#8221;, DiManEX explains, &#8220;80% of the products [in a warehouse] will be sold only 2 times\/year leading to write off, scrapping and waste of materials. Photo of a corrado part via VW.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Complimenting digital stock, the company also enables businesses to identify parts in its existing database that can be produced using additive manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>DiManEx has proven that by 3D printing just 2% of existing parts, companies can see a 6% increase in their EBITDA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additive manufacturing &#8211; it&#8217;s only the beginning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to DiManEx, &#8220;Funding partners Marisan &amp; Partners BV and La Terza SARL are impressed by what our team has achieved these past two years.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The company currently serves clients throughout the US and Europe.
