Of that total, the  segment accounted for \u20ac34.8 million for the full year, up by 38.1% on FY 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prodways 3D printing <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prodways revenue for  is split in two segments: Systems and Products.<\/p>\n<p>Systems encompasses the company&#8217;s 3D printers, materials and software, including the plastic laser sintering systems, plastic DLP\u00ae MovingLIGHT\u00ae systems and ceramic DLP.<\/p>\n<p>Products, on the other hand, accounts for end-use 3D printed products sold by company, such as Scientifeet\u00ae custom 3D printed insoles that were commercially launched in June 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l104iZ2w4zg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>3D printing Systems performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Total reported revenue from the  division in Q4 2017 was \u20ac13.0 million &#8220;a sharp increase of 74.3% compared to the same period in 2016.&#8221; Of this reported total, Prodways 3D printer Systems account for the strongest growth of the two 3D printing segments, up by \u20ac3.8 million to a total reported revenue of \u20ac7.3 million for Q4 2017. For the same period in 2016, Systems revenue was reported at \u20ac3.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Strong material sales led Systems&#8217; performance, as machine sales fell compared the last quarter of 2016. Comparatively, Prodways materials customer sales rose by 74% on the quarter and 51% on the financial year.<\/p>\n<p>The Systems segment also benefitted from the acquisition of AvenAo Industrie, a French industrial software solutions and 3D integration specialist, that exceeded expectations for Q4 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3D printed Products performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prodways&#8217; 3D printed Products revenue was up \u20ac1.7 million in Q4 2017, to a reported revenue of \u20ac5.7 million. For the full year 2017, Products revenue was reported at \u20ac17.8 million, a 46.7% increase on FY 2016&#8217;s $12.2 million reported revenue.<\/p>\n<p>The medical market is a particular asset to this growth, and was supported by Prodways acquiring a 75% stake in French medical device manufacturer Interson-Protac, that specializes in making 3D printed hearing aid tips and made-to-measure ear protectors.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_120954\" style=\"width: 731px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-120954\" src=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Screenshot-2017-09-07-11.47.56.png\" alt=\"Interson-Protac's Pianissimo - custom made ear protection for musicians. Rapha\u00ebl Gorg\u00e9, Groupe Gorg\u00e9 Chairman and CEO, and Lo\u00efc Le Berre, Deputy CEO and Group CFO, will be holding a conference call discussing the results at 11:00am (CET).<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Groupe Gorg\u00e9 is aiming for adjusted revenue between \u20ac285 and \u20ac295 million in 2018.
