Photo via FIT AG<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Japan\u2019s additive manufacturing climate <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With development and distribution sites across the U.S., Romania, and Russia and over 20 years of experience, FIT AG is an expert in providing services in rapid prototyping and additive design manufacturing (ADM) technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ADM service package, which will soon enter Japan\u2019s manufacturing market, includes a complete portfolio of additive manufacturing technologies starting from the pre-production phase to post-processing procedures, as well as quality assurance methods. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite its<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sales and project management operations in Nagoya, Japan, FIT AG has identified a lack of presence within the economy for additive manufacturing technologies. According to FIT AG as Japanese manufacturers, specifically large car manufacturers, integrate AM processes into their production of end-parts and tools, the demand for the relevant technologies increase. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;When I first heard about FIT AG and its ADM concept, I immediately recognized the potential that it contained,&#8221; said Yasushi Murata, FIT AG\u2019s Japanese manufacturing industry expert.  <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"attachment_124632\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-124632\" src=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/fitnik-2-1024x684.png\" alt=\"FIT offers R&amp;D of complex metal parts. Photo via FIT.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Past production partnerships <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior to this, FIT AG has expanded its operations through collaborations with manufacturers and construction companies working within the 3D printing industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In early 2017, global construction company, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Caterpillar Inc<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, headquartered in Illinois, announced <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a three-year partnership with FIT AG<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This partnership kick-started production of a range of 3D print aluminum and titanium parts for Caterpillar\u2019s range of large-scale machinery. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Several months later, FIT AG revealed a strategic partnership with industrial 3D printer manufacturer <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EOS<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is supplying its five of its EOS 400M &#8211; 4 systems to create components for automotive, medical and aerospace sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And, in Russia, FIT operates as one half of FITNIK.
