Photo via Stanley Black &amp; Decker.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>The <\/b><b>Techstars Class 131<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Tim Hatch, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chief Technology Officer at Stanley Engineered Fastening (SEF), Stanley Black &amp; Decker has been on a 30-year mission to find new ways to implement additive manufacturing in the production process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>With this mission, Stanley Black &amp; Decker, partnered with Techstars, who have provided seed funding for over 1500 technology startups.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After sifting through an undisclosed amount of applications spanning across 11 countries, Reuter has finalized ten startups from Ireland, Israel, Canada, and the U.S.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The participants include <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Micron3DP<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an Israel-based company developing high-speed metal 3D printers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MetalMaker 3D,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a Connecticut-based company developing an affordable and scalable solution for metal additive manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Calt Dynamics<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an Ireland-based company creating socially beneficial  Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Structur<a href=\"\/service\/3d-printing\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an Ontario-based company developing soft 3D printing materials beyond plastic filaments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inventaprint,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a New York-based product development platform for the hardware space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Astroprint, a San Diego-based company providing a cloud platform empowering creators with 3D printers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kwambio<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a New York-based ceramics 3D printing company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NanoQuan<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a Canadian company developing advanced nanomaterials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mani.me,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a California-based manufacturer of ready-to-wear 3D printed nails, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And finally, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Castor Technologies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an Israel-based company developing intelligent 3D printing software for manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c[I] am proud of the strength of the companies and the diversity of their offerings and teams and am confident that this is going to be an amazing year for the companies, for the city of Hartford, for Stanley Black &amp; Decker, and for Techstars!\u201d said <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reuter.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"attachment_136360\" style=\"width: 597px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-136360\" src=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Untitled-3.png\" alt=\"The Techstars team at a Demo Day for the Paris Accelerator program.
