The rise in revenue from this period was led by a strong performance in the company&#8217;s 3D printing Services segment, which experienced an increase of 26.4% to \u20ac3.4 million, compared to \u20ac2.6 million in Q2 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The Systems segment, responsible for the sale of 3D printers, peripherals and maintenance, was reported at \u20ac1.8 million, a decrease of 25.9% to on the comparative period in 2017, and constituted 35.8% of total revenues, in comparison with 49.9% in Q2 2017.<\/p>\n<p>H1 2018 revenue was reported at \u20ac10.3 million, the comparative for the previous year was \u20ac9.7 million. As of 2017, its VX2000 system is also integrated with High Speed Sintering (HSS) technology.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the hardware and materials for these systems, voxeljet offers industrial 3D printing services from facilities located in India, China, Germany, the U.S. and the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, in Q1 2018, voxeljet agreed to a 3 year contract supplying Tooling and Equipment International (TEI) in Livonia, Michigan, with over 500,000 liters of 3D printed sand.<\/p>\n<p><b>Good performance in America and Germany<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The strongest growth for Services revenue contributions in Q2 2018 was generated by the voxeljet America subsidiary and operations at the company&#8217;s German base. In the U.S. revenue for Q2 2018 was reported at \u20ac1.1 million, 21% of the overall revenue for the period.
