The funding came from <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unternehmertum Venture Capital<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (UVC Partners), <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">btov Partners<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AM Ventures<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Image via DyeMansion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Improve post-processing technology <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2015, DyeMansion specializes in post-processing technology for SLS 3D printed products. By using a 3 step method, known as \u2018Print-to-Product\u2019, DyeMansion cleans, finishes and colors 3D printed parts using a shot-peening process.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s existing partners include BMW, Daimler, Under Armour, HP, and Shapeways, that offers DyeMansion finishing as an option for SLS 3D printed products. Since 2015, leading German 3D printer provider EOS, that shares a founder with AM Ventures, has also been an investor of the company.<\/p>\n<p>With regards to the company\u2019s most recent funding round, Philipp Kramer, CTO and co-founder of DyeMansion stated, &#8220;Thanks to our customers and partners we have learned a lot about the demand for the digital factory of the future. Photo via DyeMansion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Investing in post-processing <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a time-consuming and labor-intensive task, post processing has become a lucrative area for innovation in 3D printing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2017, New York\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PostProcess Technologies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> received <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$4 million in seed round funding to  develop an automated post processing solution.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the same year, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additive Manufacturing Technologies Ltd.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> received a \u00a3624,000 grant from government-backed accelerator <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Innovate UK<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, for its <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">post-processing method for 3D printed parts<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. And, most recently, the UK based <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manufacturing Technology Centre<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MTC), revealed its latest project, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FlexiFinish, which provides automated AM post-processing for metallic components<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Felix Ewald, DyeMansion\u2019s CEO and co-founder stated, &#8220;With AM Ventures and our new investors, we have found the right people and expertise to accelerate our global roll out and to develop more technologies and industry 4.0 solutions.
