It is aimed at reducing costs and time to keep the partners competitive and flourishing in the market. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bill Cronin, Xometry\u2019s senior vice president of Sales and Marketing said, \u201cwe\u2019re focused on helping our manufacturing partners grow their businesses, streamline processes, and improve their cash flow.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To fulfill its orders, Xometry uses advanced 3D printing technologies, such as Stratasys Fortus FDM, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EOS Polymer Laser Sintering systems, and EOS Direct Metal Laser Sintering systems. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NscZpMfLZJo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>On-demand manufacturing services<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In recent times, Xometry has grown to be one of the leading companies to provide on-demand manufacturing services. Last year, in a funding round led by BMW i Ventures and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GE<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Xometry secured $15 million in funding<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier this year it added <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SLA printing<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to its services and acquired Kentucky-based <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on-demand manufacturing platform MakeTime<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In August, the company added <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3D visualization kit HOOPS communicator<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to its instant quotation engine which enables the user to see detailed and precise 3D models for manufacturing feedback.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Xometry\u2019s manufacturing partner network<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Xometry Manufacturing Partners encompasses 2,400 small to mid-size manufacturers across the United States, such as Zero Hour Parts, a precision CNC machining company and PT&amp;R, Inc., a California-based precision metal and plastic parts supplier. Both companies reached $1 million revenue milestone working with Xometry.<\/p>\n<p>The Shop Advantage Program is supported by Xometry\u2019s industrial partners.
