Photo by Beau Jackson.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Accelerating metal additive manufacturing<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier this year, Sandvik announced plans to establish a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">production plant for 3D printing materials in Sweden, close to the company\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">additive manufacturing R&amp;D center<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The investment in RenAM systems will accelerate the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">production of fine metal powders made from titanium and nickel, contributing to <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sandvik\u2019s existing <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Osprey brand of powders<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new multi-laser RenAM 500Q systems add to Sandvik\u2019s existing range of additive manufacturing machines, which include printers from <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EOS<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Concept Laser<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arcam<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ExOne<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
