The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.<br \/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o2fgVtSOjmQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Flexible filament<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recreus was founded in 2013 by industrial designer, Ignacio Garc\u00eda. The company boasts that it was the first to introduce an elastic filament in the 3D printing market, the TPU-based FilaFlex. The company\u2019s flexible filament have been especially used in orthopedics such as bespoke 3D printed insoles made by Cheshire-based Cadscan, and 3D printed prostheses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to FilaFlex and other filaments, the Spanish company also manufactures the Recreus Extruder V3, which is specially designed to 3D print flexible filaments.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning the deal with Repsol, Garc\u00eda, commented &#8220;thanks to Repsol investment we will be able to tackle a new future in 3d printing. Image via Recreus\/Twitter.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Advancing sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the 2016-2020 period, Repsol has allocated \u20ac85 million to invest in the energy and technology sector.
