It is truly a game-changer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><b>Expanding <\/b><b>Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing  <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sciaky is a subsidiary of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phillips Service Industries, Inc.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PSI), a U.S. manufacturing and repair services company. As well as its welding services, in 2009, the company developed its EBAM processes and began commercialization of industrial EBAM 3D printers in 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exclusive to Sciaky, EBAM utilizes wire feedstock and an electron beam heat source inside a vacuum chamber to 3D print an object. Currently, there are four EBAM systems available on the market, EBAM 300, 200, 150, 110, which have been used by aerospace companies like <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAMAero<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Airbus<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, Sciaky joined the<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Alliance for the Development of Additive Processing Technologies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ADAPT), a Colorado-based industry-academia consortium to expand the applications of EBAM systems in the aerospace industry as well as other manufacturing sectors. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, KTM Consultants will work with the company to increase sales efforts of its EBAM solutions globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_108141\" style=\"width: 2048px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-108141\" src=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Sciaky-110-EBAM-System.jpg\" alt=\"The Sciaky 110 EBAM System.
