The funding will be used to continue development of 3DCompare&#8217;s web-based quotation tool for on-demand manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CEO of 3DCompare, Alex Ziff, said, \u201cThese are exciting times for 3DCompare. The potential of what we are doing is vast and this is now being picked up on. Photo via 3DCompare.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>Comparing manufacturing<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3DCompare launched in 2018, at founding, CEO Ziff <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">said<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOur platform, 3DCompare addresses the need for small batch, prototype printing which is affordable, easy to access and simple to achieve.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The process requires users to upload either a digital file to 3DCompare or in the absence of that &#8211; they can contact the company for design services. <\/span>The platform uses a pricing algorithm, and then provides a quotation after searching through a database of registered global manufacturing partners.
