Litehaus, a start<\/a>up headquart<\/a>ered in Portugal leveraging 3D printing<\/a> technology for construction, has recently raised a pre-seed round of 1.5 million euros with the part<\/a>icipation of Explorer Investments (one of the largest Portuguese investment funds), Cornerstone VC, Pascal Levy-Garboua, and the Claster Group.<\/p>\n

This funding will be used to accelerate the development of its platform that helps land and property owners build 30% cheaper, 40% faster, and 60% more sustainably (compared to traditional processes), strengthen the team in the areas of product, marketing and operations, and consolidate its position as one of the fastest growing construction technology start<\/a>ups in Europe.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2024 by Simi and Thibault Launay, Litehaus was born out of the couple\u2019s personal experience: building their own house in Portugal, marked by 14 months of delays, 20% budget increases, and the difficult coordination of 10 contractors. Today, the company is creating a new paradigm in residential construction with a technological platform that connects all part<\/a>s of the process \u2013 planning, professionals, execution, and delivery \u2013 in a single digital and scalable solution.<\/p>\n

The Litehaus platform functions as an operating system for home construction. It allows clients to plan, budget, and visualize their projects (without prior experience), connects projects to a diverse network of architects, contractors, and designers, coordinates teams, deadlines, and costs in real-time, and guarantees total visibility, fewer delays, and unwanted surprises.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t build houses \u2013 we build the ecosystem and infrastructure that make building houses scalable,\u201d said Thibault Launay, Co-founder of Litehaus.<\/p>\n

This model is already bearing fruit: Litehaus has signed 17 contracts with B2C clients worth 4 million euros and 8 MOUs with other real estate developers, with a construction potential of over 296 million euros. The start<\/a>up has already helped build two houses and will support the construction of fifteen more.<\/p>\n
