As such, assessing how these factors influence structural integrity under e<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\">art<\/a>hquake loading is vital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis experiment aims to fill the knowledge gap surrounding the dynamic response of 3D printed units, p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\">art<\/a>icularly how they perform under recorded and simulated seismic events,\u201d said project leads Prof. Anastasios Sextos and Dr. Raffaele De Risi. \u201cBy doing so, the team aims to identify strengths, weaknesses, and failure mechanisms specific to this construction method.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The results will contribute to the development of safety standards and design guidelines tailored for 3D printed concrete in seismically active regions.
