Located in the Camp Mabry Historic District, the Innovation Center is replacing temporary buildings that have far exceeded their 10-year lifespan \u2013 significantly increasing the space\u2019s energy<\/a> efficiency while providing a more modern and useful facility. The center was completed in 2024 with traditional construction finish-outs supported by troop labor from TMD Soldiers and Airmen. This integration provides unique training opportunities for servicemembers and allows them to utilize state-of-the-art<\/a> construction methods.<\/p>\n

This building is the first 3D printed structure to receive approval from a historical commission \u2013 a testament to its unique integration of cutting-edge technology.<\/p>\n
