Using the legendary BfB 3D Touch 3D printer, Bryan worked his way up from prototyping his globally-admired shoe designs in his bedroom, to showcasing his ground-breaking footwear ranges on fashion<\/a> runways.<\/p>\n

Having stepped away from running his eponymous footwear brand, Shoes By Bryan, to transition back to his career as an architect in 2017, Bryan is now listing the five, discontinued 3D printers that launched his experimental footwear brand as collectors\u2019 items that can still be used today.<\/p>\n

These 3D printers cannot be found new in stores or online, and are a rare find in the resale market. This is part<\/a>ly due to Bits from Bytes Limited being acquired by 3D Systems Corporation in 2010 \u2013 after which 3D Systems eventually phased out the BfB 3D Touch model. In 2010, 3D Systems part<\/a>nered with Bryan to support his revolutionary footwear venture, which ultimately reached across the globe and inspired countless footwear lovers and connoisseurs.<\/p>\n

Obsolete or not, the BfB 3D Touch 3D printer model has an enduring legacy as a dependable and repairable machine. Some owners have hacked this model of printers over the years to replace ordinary 3D printable plastic materials with those enabling the creation of edible objects and medical<\/a> part<\/a>s for growing biopolymers in laboratories.<\/p>\n

Out of the five machines for sale, four are in working order and one is inoperable without repairs and is, therefore, included for part<\/a>s. It is worthwhile noting that these collectible 3D printers are not intended for use by beginners.<\/p>\n
