Massivit 3D Printing Technologies is, for the first time, entering the defense industries market: the company, which engages in the development, manufacture, and sales of 3D printers and printing materials, signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Kanfit to install its state-of-the-art<\/a> Massivit 10000 printer at Kanfit\u2019s plants and for the purpose of customer beta testing.<\/p>\n

Kanfit is an Israeli manufacturer of products made from composite materials, metals, and hybrid assemblies for the aviation, aerospace<\/a>, medical<\/a> devices, and defense industries. The Company has expertise in four key areas: design and manufacture of products and assemblies; manufacture of hybrid assembly and integration structures for aircraft; 3D printing<\/a> of titanium (including medical<\/a> implants), aluminum, and plastic part<\/a>s; design and manufacture of prototypes and production tools and assemblies. Kanfit manufactures part<\/a>s and assemblies for key players in the Israeli aerospace<\/a> market, among others, such as the Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems, Rafael Defense Industries, Israel Air Force, Ministry of Defense, etc.<\/p>\n

Massivit 10000 3D printer <\/p>\n

Massivit CEO, Erez Zimerman, said: \u201cWe are excited to sign the first agreement of this kind, for the strategic collaboration with Kanfit \u2013 one of the most important defense manufacturers in Israel. This agreement is a momentous milestone in achieving Massivit\u2019s goals and business strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Massivit 10000 printer is one of Massivit\u2019s next-generation printers. The printer operates on the cast in motion technology, which is designed to produce composite part<\/a>s and can be used for printing molds, production tools, and large-scale models that industrial companies can use for manufacturing. Massivit is continuing preliminary sales of the printer, prior to its launch in 2022. As of the end of the third quart<\/a>er of 2021, Massivit has 12 pending (non-binding) orders, which it plans to deliver in the second half of 2022. Kanfit\u2019s order will be delivered immediately and constitutes the 14th order for the Massivit 10000 printer.<\/p>\n
