While the 3D printer is similar to other systems now available in the market \u2013 such as those introduced by Nanoe and Triditive among others \u2013 TIWARI was able to leverage support from ESA to validate four metal and ceramic materials for space and other <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/insights\/applications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">application<\/a>s.<\/p>\n<p>TIWARI\u2019s process uses thermoplastic filaments that are embedded with p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>icles of the metal or ceramic the p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a> is to be made from.
