Dave Ramahi joined Optomec in 2002 after successful leadership positions in the computer graphics industry.  Under Dave\u2019s leadership as CEO, Optomec transitioned from start<\/a>-up mode to sustained growth, to profitability, to ultimately achieving Dave\u2019s vision of becoming one of the few additive manufacturing companies that derives the majority of its revenue from production application<\/a>s. Dave received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors has appointed Mike Barry to the role of Interim President and CEO.  Mike previously served as Optomec\u2019s Vice President of Corporate Development and has been a member of Optomec\u2019s Board of Directors for many years.  Mike has 30 years of experience in senior executive positions at several rapid-growth, high-tech companies, including his role as founder and CEO of a successful software start<\/a>-up, Rosetta Technologies. With Mike\u2019s in-depth knowledge of Optomec\u2019s customers, operations, employees, and culture, he is part<\/a>icularly well-suited to carry on Dave\u2019s vision of bringing additive manufacturing to the production floor.<\/p>\n
