Holo, a Silicon Valley-based metal additive manufacturing company, has appointed David Benhaim, a successful entrepreneur with high-profile leadership experience in the AM industry, to its Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to have David join our board as we enter this growth phase for Holo,\u201d said Hal Zarem, CEO of Holo. \u201cHe is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in this industry and he\u2019s been through this before.\u201d<\/p>\n

David Benhaim. <\/p>\n

In 2013, David Benhaim co-founded Markforged, which was taken public (NYSE: MKFG) in 2021. He also advises early-stage deep technology companies leveraging cloud-based software, art<\/a>ificial intelligence, and connected hardware to disrupt fields like life sciences, and accessible robotics. He has a deep background in software, having graduated from MIT \u2013 where he co-founded his first company \u2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering.<\/p>\n

\u201cHolo has built a technology platform that enables 3D printing<\/a> of fine-featured metal part<\/a>s with the precision and surface finish to make them production-worthy as printed. When I saw that, I realized that this company can take digital manufacturing of metal part<\/a>s to the next level,\u201d said David Benhaim.<\/p>\n

Holo 3D prints highly-precise metal part<\/a>s in prototype and production volumes. To carve its place in the market, the company is prioritizing a strong strategy as a focused vertical supplier built on its scalable manufacturing technology, PureForm, which produces part<\/a>s with features smaller than 50 microns, holding tight tolerances across a wide variety of sizes. With this precision and injection molded-like surface finish, Holo\u2019s part<\/a>s generally do not need post-processing \u2013 reducing the cost to the end customer.<\/p>\n

The expansion of the Holo Board of Directors is a result of the company\u2019s investment in its future and the validation of industry veterans who understand its unique value proposition.<\/p>\n
