ADDMAN, a leading US-based metal AM service provider, has added Dinsmore, a leading provider of polymer 3D printing<\/a> services, to its manufacturing solutions network. This transaction marks the fifth acquisition for ADDMAN over the past 24 months, including high-profile companies such as 3rd dimension and Castheon.<\/p>\n

The addition of Dinsmore further broadens ADDMAN\u2019s polymer production capability which is complementary to the existing additive and traditional manufacturing services already offered. The ADDMAN and Dinsmore transaction was supported by American Industrial Part<\/a>ners and Fredrikson & Byron served as legal counsel. The acquisition also comes at a time when some consolidation is occurring in the highly fragmented AM service space, as some companies struggle and others continue to expand.<\/p>\n

Dinsmore is known for its expertise in go-to-market and rapid manufacturing, supporting prototyping and low-volume production for customers with a concentration in medical<\/a> application<\/a>s. The company operates over 35 additive machines using leading technologies such as MJF<\/a>, PolyJet, DLS, DLP<\/a>, SLA<\/a>, FFF and FDM<\/a>.<\/p>\n
