Denmark-based COBOD International has further expanded its distribution network, through an agreement with Canadian-based nidus3D, in a part<\/a>nership that will see 3D construction printing technology brought to Canada, and strengthen building automation in North America. nidus3D is at the forefront of the 3DPC industry \u2013 paving the way for new builds to be achieved faster, more affordably, and with less waste, using COBOD technology.<\/p>\n

nidus3D used COBOD technology for their first 3D printed multi-unit residential building fully permitted for occupancy in Canada. Finished units will be provided to the market as long-term affordable rentals. <\/p>\n

nidus3D has recently succeeded in 3D printing<\/a> Canada\u2019s first multi-unit structure, in real concrete, using COBOD\u2019s BOD2 \u2013 one of the world\u2019s top-selling 3D construction printers. The project is a first-of-its-kind, and consists of four units, each measuring 560ft\u00b2, and is the first 3D printed home to obtain permission for occupancy in Canada. nidus3D\u2019s 3D printed homes are expected to be available by Summer 2022 \u2013 for families seeking attainable housing.<\/p>\n
