Meltio, a disruptive laser metal deposition technology manufacturer, has brought on Dutch technology center, K3D, as the first official service bureau, and a key contributor to its application<\/a> development in Europe. This agreement was made possible with the help of 3D Printer Solutions, Meltio\u2019s official sales part<\/a>ner in the Benelux.<\/p>\n

The K3D team <\/p>\n

K3D is a technology center, based in the Netherlands that aims to provide accessible and affordable metal 3D printing<\/a> services to a variety of industries. The center\u2019s business model enables the widespread use of various metal additive manufacturing technologies, and also provides training and capacitation. After verifying the advantages of Meltio\u2019s wire LMD technology, through a custom part<\/a> printed on the Meltio Engine Robot Integration, K3D incorporated this innovative technology into their portfolio. By adding both the plug-and-play metal 3D printer, the Meltio M450, and the Meltio Engine integrated into a robotic arm, K3D plans to play a key role in making this technology accessible across Europe. The center will also assist in the improvement and advancement of this technology. Furthermore, K3D will support the demand for Meltio part<\/a>s for a wide range of application<\/a>s for industrial sectors, as well as co-create the official Meltio training and capacitation curriculums.<\/p>\n

Meltio\u2019s multi-metal 3D printing<\/a> technology stacks weld beads, precisely, on top of one another when introduced into a laser-generated melt pool. The process uses commodity welding wire \u2013 the cleanest, safest and lowest cost metal feedstock on the market. The Meltio Engine integrates robotic and CNC equipment, seamlessly \u2013 bringing new metal additive manufacturing capabilities to a wide range of application<\/a>s.<\/p>\n
