Jewelry brand Eternha has chosen CRP Technology and its Windform GT, glass fiber reinforced composite material, commonly used to manufacture high resistance and advanced application<\/a>s, to create some of the elements of their Men\u2019s collection bracelets. This is an absolute novelty in the jewelry sector<\/p>\n

Jewelry brand company Eternha was founded in 2020 by Stefano Massimiliano Marangoni and Chiara Cistriani. The store was opened on June 25, 2022. Their creations combine traditional jewelry industry materials and craftsmanship (natural hard stones and\/or precious and non-precious metals) with hi-tech polyamide-based composite materials, used in some of the most advanced industrial sectors, such as Motorsports and Aerospace.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a brand new project, never realized before,\u201d said Chiara Cistriani. \u201c50% of our investments is focused on product quality. The rest is innovation, eco-sustainability and the search for harmony between materials and colors. \u201c<\/p>\n

Hi-tech materials and fashion<\/a><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s a winning combination, completely reinvented in the Eternha bracelets thanks to the Windform composites.<\/p>\n

Stefano Massimiliano Marangoni explained: \u201cOur purpose has always been to realize high-quality jewels. Once the level of materials was fixed, we wanted to be innovative; so we decided to insert in our creations some elements made of a hi-tech material that, on the one hand, would provide a precise identity to our bracelets, and on the other hand, allow anyone to wear something unusual for the fashion<\/a> world.\u201d<\/p>\n

At this point, there was nothing left to do but proceed with the creation of bracelets with hi-tech inserts. After some unproductive contacts, Chiara and Stefano met CRP Technology, \u201can international entity, with its historic headquart<\/a>ers in Italy\u201d, Stefano added.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter we identified in CRP the appropriate technology supplier, we had to find the proper material for our aims; we liked the idea of combining our jewelry with indestructible elements, made of a material used for extreme and functional application<\/a>s, something \u201ceternal\u201d. Thanks to the collaboration with CRP Technology, we have discovered an extraordinary material, a polyamide-based composite, glass fiber reinforced, developed and produced by CRP Technology: Windform GT.\u201d<\/p>\n

Windform <\/sup>GT in the jewelry industry<\/h2>\n

Windform GT has been used to manufacture, via selective laser sintering or SLS<\/a> (a laser powder bed fusion technology), some elements for Eternha\u2019 Aquilha, Falcho, Lupho and Cobrha Men\u2019s bracelets models.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are small elements \u2013 Stefano specified \u2013 with a maximum length of approximately 10-12 mm. Shapes vary from parallelepiped to sphere and cylinder, with different graphic elaborations. And, in one case, with the engraving of our company logo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGiven the very small shapes \u2013 continued Chiara \u2013 we had to abandon some ideas and adapt others. But there is no compromise when it comes the quality. We wanted the top of the hi-tech range, and we got it with the Windform GT composite material.\u201d<\/p>\n

Windform GT is a highly versatile composite material in terms of performance and aesthetic appeal. In fact, it combines excellent characteristics of elasticity, ductility and impact resistance, with a deep lustrous finish after hand polishing. It is also not electrically conductive, it is resistant to the absorption of moisture and liquids, and is approved for skin contact.<\/p>\n

Stefano added: \u201cWe wanted to include in our creations one or more elements made of a material used to manufacture advanced, functional application<\/a>s; a material capable of attracting customers for its intrinsic meaning and for the suggestions it evokes, rather than for its excellent mechanic<\/a>al characteristics.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to give ordinary people the opportunity to wear \u201ca piece\u201d of technology, which will travel in Space, will race in Motorsports competitions, will improve the quality of life in the application<\/a>s to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
