Consequently, it has the fastest-revving production car engine ever seen, reaching up to 12,200 RPM and a notable 3,065 horsepower.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/4125320504619653638.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To make the engine a reality, and support the extreme levels of performance required, the unique \u2018anadiaplasi\u2019 piston was designed. \u2018Anadiaplasi\u2019 is Spyros Panopoulos\u2019 proprietary method of design for AM in which a component takes its shape based on the forces acting on it. Material is minimized where it doesn\u2019t support performance and added where reinforcement is needed, optimizing weight while maintaining the strength and temperature resistance of the p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a> \u2013 essential for any piston, but p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>icularly testing in such a high-performing engine. The result is an organic, complex shape that is light, yet strong. This technique is implemented throughout the Chaos Ultra car.<\/p>\n<p>On concluding the design, Panopolous realized that to produce such complex geometry \u2013 along with the high accuracy and excellent surface finish required \u2013 the only relevant manufacturing technology was additive manufacturing. His choice was XJet Nanop<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>icle Jetting.
