With the fully automated 3D print<\/a>ing<\/a> technology to produce flow profiles for manhole and inspection chambers, Pipelife can efficiently increase its availability for its clients\u2019 drainage requirements. Thanks to the new 3D print<\/a>er setup, the company can sequentially produce flow profiles without human interference, producing multiple flow profiles at once. Due to the increased production speed and the possibility to run the printer 24\/7, it is possible to handle more orders in a shorter period of time. Thus, improving drainage services for clients.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the 3D print<\/a>er allows Pipelife to provide optimized hydraulics, fully tailored to each project\u2019s specifications. The connected software that had been developed together with Pipelife\u2019s part<\/a>nering software company calculates and draws a profile within 20 minutes. With improved hydraulic characteristics the risk of stagnant storm- or wastewater or even blockages can be significantly reduced. Thus, it minimizes the possibility of unexpected additional costs.<\/p>\n

An improved 3D print<\/a>er with additional automated functions was set up at Pipelife Netherland\u2019s plant in the summer of 2021. Since the implementation of the 3D print<\/a>er, it has significantly improved production speed and precision. Further improvements\u00a0on the\u00a03D print<\/a>er,\u00a0such as\u00a0additional\u00a0automatization\u00a0of\u00a0the whole setup\u00a0are in the pipeline.\u00a0Once these are\u00a0completed at the\u00a0beginning\u00a0of\u00a02022, 3D\u00a0printing\u00a0will\u00a0be implemented across the Group.<\/p>\n
