Powered by SAF technology, the new H350 printer delivers production-level throughput for end-use p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s. It\u2019s designed to give manufacturers production consistency, a competitive and predictable cost per p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>, and complete control for the production of thousands of p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s. The H350 printer even includes about a dozen different p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s 3D-printed with SAF technology.<\/p>\n<p>The H350 printer has been in beta testing since early 2021 with service bureaus and contract manufacturers in Europe, Israel, and the United States, including Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, which is now selling p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s on demand using the system. It is expected to ship more broadly to customers in Q3 of this year. Applications include end-use p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s such as covers, connectors, hinges, cable holders, <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/electronics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">electronics<\/a> housings, and ducting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have ambitious plans to grow our business and we believe adding a Stratasys H350 can be a key component of that growth,\u201d said Philipp Goetz, owner of Goetz Maschinenbau, a Germany-based service bureau. \u201cWe have fulfilled orders for both large p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s as well as up to several hundred smaller p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s. We have been impressed with the performance of the system and SAF technology, with consistent p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s throughout the build volume. The system has also been remarkably reliable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stratasys is using certified third-p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>y materials for H Series systems. The initial material is Stratasys High Yield PA11, which is a more sustainable, bio-based plastic made of renewable raw materials derived from vegetable oil. Competing systems use PA12 derived from petroleum.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/img.facfox.com\/imgs\/2021\/06\/2cbe2b67f8dd9626.png\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Big P<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s with the F770 <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/fdm-3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDM<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D print<\/a>er<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The third new system presented, the Stratasys F770 <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D print<\/a>er, builds on Stratasys\u2019 reputation for reproducibility and dependability via industrial-grade <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/fdm-3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDM<\/a> technology. Ideal for big p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s, this newest <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/fdm-3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDM<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D print<\/a>er features the longest fully heated build chamber on the market and a generous build volume of over 13 cubic feet.<\/p>\n<p>The new system, priced under $100,000, is designed for prototyping, jigs and fixtures, and tooling <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/insights\/applications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">application<\/a>s requiring standard thermoplastics. Soluble support material simplifies post-processing, while GrabCAD Print\u2122 software streamlines workflow and enterprise connectivity is enabled through the MTConnect standard and the GrabCAD SDK.<\/p>\n<p>Sub-Zero Group Inc., based in Madison, Wisc., manufactures luxury appliances, and has been a beta customer for the F770. Doug Steindl, corporate development lab supervisor, said it helps keep the printing of larger p<a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/news\/topics\/art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art<\/a>s in-house, creating a cost savings of 30 to 40 percent. \u201cIt\u2019s speed to market on everything,\u201d he said. \u201cOur <a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D print<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/facfox.com\/service\/3d-printing-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ing<\/a> lab is faced with new product builds every six weeks. The faster we can turn things around, the better, and the quickest way we can do that is to keep as much in-house as possible.
